Eating vegetables rich in potassium as part of an overall healthy diet may lower blood pressure, and may also reduce the risk of developing kidney stones and help to decrease bone loss.

A food pyramid shows that vegetables have the large number of servings to be eaten each day from each of the basic food groups. Vegetables are important part of healthy eating and provide a source of various nutrients, including vitamins and minerals which help maintain our healthy body. It reduces the risk of chronic deseases and prevents cancer. It maintain our immune system healthy. Vegetables are good for the body.
