Why do some people prefer to read magazines rather than books?

Mm. I think one of the reason is that in magazines, um,
the people can see a lot of pictures then colourful and I think it's fantastic.

In my opinion, I think that the reason why some people prefer to read magazines to normal books that because of the colour of it. Most of the magazines have colourful pages. Some magazines use a famous celebrity in its cover. It can make that kind of books more interesting. In contrast, normal books usually have only the word, so it's quite boring.

For me, magazine has pictures and multi colors which is attractive.
Readers would be boring if they only read the texts in ordinary books.

I think it is more comfortable.
You can read any magazines on your tablet or mobile phone.
But for magazine books, if you want to read 5 books , you have to carry all of 5 books.

There's difference content between books and magazines. To put it simply, books are more factual while magazines are more actual. Books are meant to be a relatively permanent source of information that last for a relatively long period of time. Magazines are dealing with current events/issues and can change as soon as there's update toward related issue.
