In my point of view, I think the best way to deal with overthinking is you have to know about both sides of it. That is the advantage and disadvantage. You have to consider the level of your overthinking. Then, you will know your thinking and you can find a way to deal with this topic. There are many ways to deal with this part. For example, you can do something that relaxes your body and your mind to find happiness. You can get some suggests from parents, teacher, or friends. You can apply the concept from all of them to manage them. How about you? Tell me about your point of view.

I suggest that write out your thoughts.
I find that writing out thoughts, at any time of day, can unload the overthinking mind and help with focus and stress relief.
It can also pre-empt the overthinking mind from ever rearing its ugly head later in the day!

I do not have any suggestion about dealing with overthinking.
I cannot do it too. I just go outside to eat some food or drink cocoa frappe. It quite helps me from overthinking.

Thank you for creating this topic because I am also a person who usually overthink about things too much. I have been facing this problem since I was in high school. It is really irritating. I still cannot find any solutions for myself right now.
Therefore, I am here to look for some useful solutions to the problem. I would like to thank you in advance for every suggestions which are going to be made here.

Personally, when I’m over thinking, I like to do something which I like such as reading a novel, watching movie, listening to music, shopping, and eating delicious food. This way can help me to reduce stress and remove something out of my mind because I have the new thing to think about.

Oh yeah, thank you for your suggestion! It reminds me of how I used to behave when I overthought about stuffs. There was one time that I overthought and I ended up fired loads of messages to my friends through Facebook's messenger. At the moment, I felt like wanting to get everything out of my mind. I wanted someone to listen to my thought but there was none with me at that night.
This situation is really like your suggestion. Just write it out, right?

I suggest you to talk with someone who you trust.
You have to talk and express the feeling out to someone. So, you will feel better.
Then, you will not be an overthinking person.
Besides, you can do follow the lesson of Buddhism that is releasing.
You have to release all your concerned feeling, and live with the present time in every seconds.

I will post my thinking on social and then I will delete it.
Maybe, I will talk with friends, or I sometimes go out to rest at someplace until I am clam.
Actually, I am not an overthinking person, so I don't often do these ways. I can sleep and eat well. It is a good life to me.

You just try to think and tell yourself it is okay.
It maybe better tomorrow, or if it is the same tomorrow, after tomorrow is remain.
Don't struck with it for long time.
WE will use to it and we will have overthinking behavior.

Sleeping can deal with overthinking.
In my point of view, I think the best way to deal with overthinking is sleeping.
Sleeping can make you forget the problem for a while. If the problem is too hard to fix at that time, you just tell yourself that it's time to sleep. Some problem can't fix in only 5 minutes or in a day, so let's sleeping and find the solution tomorrow when you have fresh energy to face it again.

I think the best way to kill overthinking is not to think about it.
I know it's easy to talk but it's quite hard to do. But it's a very best way for that!
OR sleeping is also a good way to deal with overthinking because when you sleep, you have nothing to think about. Another good way is to listen to music and enjoy the songs that make you feel better. You know music is another good choice for you. I do always listen to music when I have bad moods or when I feel bad and it helps me A LOT!

This is the hardest question that I have ever answered.
For me I think you might do meditation for 30 minutes to escape from this problem in a short time then going back to solve any problems.
By the way, you can talk to someone you can trust to explain what you think.

1. Awareness is the beginning of change.
2. Don't think of what can go wrong, but what can go right.
3. Distract yourself into happiness.
4. Put things into perspective.

This topic seriously grabs my attention. LOL I have to tell you that the reason which causes me to overthink is that what people think about me. When I find myself likely to overthink, what I usually do is to turn my favorite songs on. Believe it or not, music has the ability to heal effectively. To me, those songs from Khalid can make me feel better when my mind is covered by anxiety or overthinking. Apart from that, overthinking can be gone when you stop expect people to view you in a good way. The fact is you can't force anyone to respect you or to have positive thoughts toward you. All you can do is to leave them behind. Ignore them and keep improving yourself to be a better version. Simple as that!

In my life I see many of my friends have overthinking someone is my close friend. I really feel sorry for them when they did something already even if they don't know that the thing that they did is right or wtong. After they did they will think too much. Some of my friends they think to much with what don't happen yet. If they still have overthinking, it might not good for their health. I have my own way to deal with overthinking that is asking to God to let him know that you need his help then you will get the best way to comeover on it.

When I am in stress or overthinking situations, I will try to focus on positive things.
For example, I will listen to music and sing along the lyrics.
Sometimes, I will try to understand my problems and change my perspective to shut down overthinking.

When I am overthinking, I will stop thinking by sleeping.
I think sleeping is the best for relaxing.
If you are overthinking due to you are stressful with some problems.
So, sleeping should be the way for solve about overthinking.

The best way to deal with overthinking of me is find something to do.
I always find something to do when I was overthinking in order to let myself to focus on things that I'm doing.
And then, I am not overthinking about anything.

Sometimes it's helpful to have a way to distract myself with happy, positive, healthy alternatives.
Things like mediation, dancing, exercise, drawing, and painting can distance me from the issues enough to shut down the overanalysis.

I can't deal with overthinking at all.
I'm a person who have negative thinking.
I also want to deal with this overthinking so much.
I don't know how! when look over TRR, I see a lots of advises.
Finally, I will take all of advising to heal my overthinking.

I have not found the way to deal with overthinking. Actually, I am an overthinking person who always worried to everything in life. The way that I recently do to deal with the habit I would go to some place with my friends. But it is not effectively because whenever I am alone the overthinking moment will get back.
