It is actually has said in many researches that we are usually should sleep at least six hours per once. I think it is really true because human's body is reconstructed in every night and many hormones or organs in the body will do their part better when the body is stop moving.

We should sleep for 8-10 hours because this is a good time to make our body to rest fully after we work all day.
Moreover, we can rest our brain enough before things all day.

In my point of view, Sleep is an important function for many reasons. When you sleep, your brain signals your body to release hormones and compounds that help:
- decrease risk for adverse health conditions
- manage your hunger levels
- maintain your immune system
- retain memory

Researchers in the United Kingdom and Italy analyzed that those who generally slept for less than five to seven hours a night were 12 percent more likely to experience a premature death. People who slept more than eight or nine hours per night had an even higher risk — 30 percent.

In my view, 8-10 or enough sleep is good for our health.
It can improve concentration and productivity in learning and works.
The research showed that if we do not get enough sleep, it can lead us to a greater risk of heart disease and stroke.
That's why we need to sleep for 8-10 hours.

I have read some article on the internet and they said sleeping for 8 hours per day will
- decrease risk for adverse health conditions

Sleeping for 8-9 hours is really beneficial for our health. During that time, our brains can sleep and rest too and if you have enough sleep, our brain will work more productively. I'm not sure about this exactly because there are always two sides of the thing. I recommend that you know yourself better than others to take care of yourself and find something is the most suitable for you.
