Wow! This topic is so useful for all of us! I am trying to find some English novel but I can't find the nice one for me. Maybe I want to read like the sci-fi one. I have the book from Grimms that my ex-boyfriend gave me. It's so big and there are so many short stories which you can read for your reading log. I have 3 pictures books too if you want to borrow me, just feel free to ask.

I can't remember it. I have read many books. I recommend you the se-ed graded readers book series. I really like it. It is extensive reading. I also recommend you this website https://www.er-central.com/ of Dr.Rob Waring. It is a fabulous site with tons of texts for reading for pleasure.

I'm sorry i can't recommend you because I don't like to read children literature.
I have read just only novel, and fictions. But when i was grade 7-9, I studied English subject and my teacher taught me about some children books such as The wizard of oz and Tom Sawyer. It's nice books. I got some morals when i read it.

Can I suggest you the novel book, Jamsai? I think it's not suitable for children but I started to read this novel when I was in secondary school. It's suitable for teenagers.

I've got plenty of them in my room.
the good ones, that I absolutely recommend are as follows:
- Harry Potter----The story of an ordinary boy living with his mean uncle and aunt who later becomes a wizard and has to join Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
- Sideway stories of Wayside school ---Weird short stories of 28 students who are so much different and charming in their own ways.
- The Hobbit---A hobbit, who is just half-man tall, has met with dwarfts and a a wizard who invite him to an unforgettable journey.
- Jacob two two--- a boy who say everything twice has been sent to the prison of the Hooded Fang, a warden who really hates children and loves to torture them.
Etc.

I recommend you that "A Wrinkle in Time" by M. L'Engle
This story talks about Meg, an awkward and insecure girl finds the courage and resourcefulness to overcome IT and save her father and brother.
She also learns about the importance of family and love.
Overall, the story is very good, and one that would appeal to readers who enjoy sci-fi/fantasy books.

I would like recommend the children literature Huck Finn.
This literature was satire about the American social in the time and also said about the unequal of black people.
The main purpose for this literature is finding the freedom by the adventure of a little boy with the slave.
