What should you do to control yourself when someone say something bad about you on Facebook or other places?

I always control myself by saying that " I can't make everyone feel please about the thing that I do" If I have to care about things all in the world it might be so stressful. I am learning how to let things go and never come back if it waste my time. I am trying to focus on my responsibility as much as I can.
To be honest, I wish I can do all things to make everyone proud of what I am doing but in the reality I can't.

I won't do anything with them even I will be upset. Letting my close friends know about this situation or something they talk about is enough. I don't know why they like to talk something wrong without asking me. If they want to know about me, they should ask me. I know myself better than other.
Ridiculously, someone told their friends that I'm going to be trainee in 'that school'. And they also guess that I begged my older brother to beg for his friend to accept me as a trainee in her school. In fact, I will go to another and I never ask for or beg other to help me in this situation even he is my brother.
I accidentally knew about it because someone asked me about the internship. I was a bit hot-headed. It was fine, though. hahaha
I just want to let you know.

The way to control myself from someone that say something bad about me is ignoring in case that the thing what they say about me is true because the more I response, the more a relationship between me and them is decreased. But in case what they say something bad about me is not true, I will response in order to express my sincerity.

I just don't give a f*ck to them because I cannot control them to stop blaming me.
Normally, it is human's behavior that they always comment and blame with sincere or taunting.
Besides, if I know that I am indeed wrong, I will try to adjust myself to be better.
So, I just remind myself that I will try my best and ask people first what I have to do.

For me, I would say that I cannot control bad words from anyone. The way that I control myself I don't react to that word directly. I usually keep myself quiet because if I react to the word immediately. I may speak my bad words out to that person with emotion more than reason.

Actually, I cannot control a person who has a bad attitude with me but I can control myself.
I have to see what are they talk about me and think that is it true or not.
If it is true, I have to say sorry or contact them to show responsibility.
If it is not true, It isn't my business.
