Do you prefer short hair or long hair?

Actually I prefer long hair to short hair. I always have fun with making my hair in different styles.
Last two years I had short hair but it did not work for me because it was not straight.
But now I'm too lazy to wake up early and think about what my hair style should be of the day.
So I keep my look in long hair with forelock. I have an idea that I will cut it shorter but I don't have the free time to go to salon.
