Maroon 5 or Coldplay and why?

I think Coldplay has something in common with me even though I love songs from Maroon 5 as well.
Coldplay has its unique music beat that can penetrate my lifestyle, so I choose Coldplay.
My favourite song is the scientist which to be told the story of love between two people finally ending up unhappily.
It is the absolutely truth about life that we meet somebody, love them and say goodbye to them.
We have to accept that we cannot hold them back all the time. The song makes me realize this point.

Although I am not really a fan of either of the two bands, it is Maroon 5, for me.
I said so because their name catches my ear more. I listen to and know their songs better than Coldplay's.
Some of their songs are so popular than a person who is not their fan including me even knows the song, and can sing along. The examples may be Sugar, Girl like you, Locked away, and Map.
I think I should pay attention to Coldplay more so that they are equal. Heheh
