I usually get black, gray, or brown when it comes to shoes. The reason making me choose the colors mentioned is that shoes are under my feet so they should be dark itself so that they do not look so dirty even when they get actually dirtier because of dust and dirt from our feet.
However, slippers I have in my apartment are pink because someone gave it to me, so I did not get to choose the color.
