Do you believe in bad luck on Friday the 13th ?

Oh I have read the comment all of you.
Most of them said don't believe.
But, i think in different way.
I do believe in bad luck on Friday the 13th. I'm superstitious.
Because I always fear of that day.
I have read about bad luck of the day.
It shows that some people may face bad things or bad things come to the life.
I believe all of these and don't want the day appeared.

I have ever heard that ghosts will come on earth on Friday the 13th, I'm very scared.
But I never hear the bad luck on that day. I don't know if I should believe. If someone confirm that to me, I will believe and get scared too. LOL

Personally, I very believe about this story because I use to live the 13 number of the room that is my old dormitory so, I found many bad things and many unlucky things. My parents told me to avoid to stay with this number but I think that everything will be good or bad is dependent on my self, not about the number.

I have read the background story of the Friday 13th. The beginning of this belief is derived from Jesus's last supper in Christianity. There were 13 disciples joining the last supper, and the 13th disciple is the one who betrayed Jesus and sent him to die. So, Christians believe that number 13 will bring bad luck to them. However, I do not believe in this superstition. One of the reasons is that I'm Buddhist.

I am half-faithful about this point. I think that it is depended on the sense of people. Some may believe but some may not. For me, I respect both sides of beliefs and if you don't believe in something, you cannot insult it by your own thought.

I do not have strong belief about the 13th. Anyway, I do not think that this day is an ordinary day either. I am feel uncomfortable about the number thirteen as well. I always avoid booking the 13 room when I go to travel, but if i have to stay in the 13 room, i am still ok with that.
