I think instead of plastic bags, people can use cloth bags or bamboo baskets to hold goods when going to a grocery store or shopping center. Moreover, when you are going to buy take-home food you can bring the food box from your house to a restaurant so that the restaurant will not use plastic to pack the food you ordered.
