Even though they will not be likely to be adapted.
It is important to make sure that reading is not boring.

My technique is to find something in English to read every day! Personally, I just check out some books in which I am interested, such as linguistic books or English tales to read! To read what we love can help motivate us to keep on reading until the end of the books! The other way for me to improve my reading is to follow the page of learning English on Facebook, such as BBC Learning English, VOA Learning English and Camebridge University Press.
They all really help! To enhance English reading strategies, I just keep on doing several versions of the tests!

For me, checking the comprehension is very helpful.
The readers should check their understandings while reading and when the reading is completed.
Monitoring comprehension helps the readers to detect inconsistencies and comprehension failures. It also helps them to find out alternative strategies for using them if they require.
