What can you do to protect the environment?

For me, I can protect our environment by reducing and avoiding using plastic bags when buying things.
It's very simple to do whenever I go shopping at any shops. I reject to get plastic bags.
I use my bag instead of a plastic bag.
I try to grow more trees because trees can help decrease pollution.

I will reduce using a plastic bag when I go shopping because I have heard that there are so many animals dying because of the plastic trash. It's so sad since human beings are the major cause of that. They shouldn't die that way. It also hurts me when I see some sea animals suffer from the trash which humans put in in the sea.

- I do not cut any trees without useless.
- I won't get a plastic bag and use paper or cloth bag instead.
- I will turn off the light every time that I do not need any light.
- I will use water economically.

First, you have to reduce plastic bags by using cloth bags. Do you know that each plastic bag can take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills and the first plastic bag is not decomposed!!
That is a scaring fact. Plastic bags are one of factors to create green house effect.
Therefore, you can protect the environment just only reduce to use plastic bags or plastic items.

I try not to use plastic cups, tins, and straws.
What I always do is taking my persona cup when going to cafes. It is just really good to do so because I think our environment really must be taken care of, especially after all the phenomenon happening lately.
I think I have been saving quite a lot of cups now because I usually go to cafes often. Well, I do not keep track with how many cups I save, but I assume that I really do.
You should try doing so because you can still enjoy your fav drinks in your personal cup. You'll also get a discount at some cafes even.

This is quite sensitive. LOL I try not to use plastic bags when I go shopping or buy something at 7-11. It seems to be an easy way to do. I sometimes use my own glass when I go to café in order to contain my favorite drinks. It may not be that helpful but as a student, we can do it easily.
