Which one is better between air conditions and fans ?

I think both of them are difference ways to reduce hot weather. Fans are more saving electricity bill.
Air conditions are fast at making cool.
Personally, I prefer air conditions because it makes me have a good sleeping.
In summer time, I always turn on air conditions. It is the best choice to reduce hot weather for me.

In this moment I have to say that air condition is better than fan because now in thailand is extremely hot. By the way fan is a good choice in daytime because if you use air condition all day so You have to pay a very expensive bill.
But for about 2 weeks ago I feel like it's extremely hot in everywhere so I have to turn on the air condition almost all day long. Even I have to pay more expensive bill but it still ok now.
