I have some advice to suggest everyone even though I'm not smart enough. hahaha
I hope my advice can help everyone as much as i can.
For example, Do not do pointless things that other people label as "cool."
For example, care more about knowledge than your grades.
Fail rather than cheat. Have some integrity and class!
Think of yourself in a positive way.
Don't think of yourself as the dumb person in the class.
Remember you can be smart in many different ways.

If you define being smart relating to the IQ, I think you can't be smarter because it is what you're born with and it's difficult to change.
However, if you define being smart relating to the way we think and process things, there are so many ways that it would takes an entire day to mention all of them.
So you can google it. There are lots of techniques out there, but one most important key is reading. You should read in order to gain knowledge to your brain. If you don't, how the hell would you start being smart, right?
Just go and read what you want. However, be selective and clever on choosing the right knowledge from the right source for yourself too. Don't forget about this fact because if you choose to read and believe matters from unreliable sources, you are going to be unreliably smarter too.

I think I'm smart but I don't mean that I have the high IQ. I'm just smart on my own way. 
In my point of view, I think people are smart on their ways. you just find out what you like and do it well. Don't compare your talent to others. You may do something that other can't whereas people do something that you can't too. For me, I think I have high EQ, I can deal with my emotion and I'm the best adviser. I think I'm good at that. By the way, my talent is Thai dancing. I love it and I always practice it to do it better and better.
